The Tour du Mont Blanc is a unique trek of more than 170 km around Mont Blanc that can be completed in between 7 and 10 days passing through Italy, Switzerland and France.

Hikers, climbers and mountaineers will greatly appreciate stop overs offered by refuges and gites along the Tour du Mont Blanc.

06 August 2020 / Temporary closure of the Italian Val Ferret road

Following a sudden torrential flow, the access road to the Italian Val Ferret is temporarily closed.

It could reopen within 48 hours.

The route of the Tour du Mont-Blanc is not impacted, its path being located much higher in altitude, between the refuges of Bertone and BonattI.

Similarly, the variant via the Montagne de la Saxe and the Col Sapin is not affected.

Only road users should take this warning into account (private cars, buses, public shuttles, taxis, luggage transporters, etc.).
