The Tour du Mont Blanc is a unique trek of more than 170 km around Mont Blanc that can be completed in between 7 and 10 days passing through Italy, Switzerland and France.

Hikers, climbers and mountaineers will greatly appreciate stop overs offered by refuges and gites along the Tour du Mont Blanc.

Information as at 25 July 2020

 

Dear hikers, 

The borders between France, Italy and Switzerland have been open since 15 June 2020.

The entire Tour du Mont-Blanc is therefore possible without restrictions.

Accommodations are open for you and are waiting for you!

 

The sanitary conditions which are set up by the accommodation providers are complete and you are already asked to respect them.

Each refuge or gîte being unique in its configuration, an exact sanitary protocol is set up for each accommodation.

 

In France only:

 A "Hiker's Charter" must be validated and signed at the time of booking. It is available on the site.

In all countries:

Hikers must bring their own sleeping bag (for France)

and/or sleping bag liner (for all countries),

pillowcase, disinfectant, and a mask.

 

Shelter capacities are reduced.

 

Regular disinfections, all barrier gestures, all measures to guarantee the safety of guests and employees will be applied. 

 

We ask you, to keep your distance from other groups in the accommodations and also on the hiking trails!

If you think you have to cancel your trip (because of the Covid-19), we offer you a credit note corresponding to the amount of the deposit paid.

and usable until the end of the year 2021.

However, if you wish to have your deposit refunded, please contact each of the various establishments concerned individually

because everyone may have different terms and conditions of sale

but take into account that the tourism industry, and especially the accommodation industry, is in a very difficult economic situation!
