Located in the center of the village of Les Houches in Haute-Savoie, in the Chamonix Valley, Gîte Michel Fagot welcomes you for stays starting from just one night.
The rooms are arranged in small dormitories with 4 to 8 beds (34 beds in total).
All amenities are close by: Geneva Airport (80 km), bus, train, post office, supermarket, bakery, ski lifts, GR5, TMB, and the Mont Blanc Tramway (TMB).

Please note: from the gîte, Auberge du Truc is reached via the Col de Tricot variant, off the main TMB route. Despite its walking time, it is not a stage on the way to Les Contamines.

By train: Take the train to Les Houches station, then walk 10 minutes to the gîte.
By plane: Fly to Geneva Airport, then take a bus line or private shuttle to Les Houches.
By car:
From Paris:
Take the A6 motorway, then A40 to Mâcon Nord, follow signs to Geneva, then take the Autoroute Blanche to the Les Houches Centre exit.
From Lyon:
Either take the A42 (Lyon–Pont d’Ain) then A40 (Mâcon–Geneva),
or take the A43 (Lyon–Chambéry–Annecy).
From the South:
From Marseille, take the A7 to Lyon or A7 to Valence,
then Valence–Grenoble, and finally A41 (Grenoble–Passy) to join the A40.

Gîte Michel Fagot does not have a kitchen area. The establishment is non-smoking.
